For many years The Schwag hosted its own Schwagstock music festivals drawing crowds of an average of 5000 people per event several times per summer. The band owned the venue Camp Zoe in Missouri where the festivals were hosted. Some of the bands opening for The Schwag at these festivals were George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic, Keller Williams, Big Brother & the Holding Company, and New Riders of the Purple Sage. Some of the guest musicians to play with The Schwag over the years include Chuck Berry, Bill Nershi from String Cheese Incident, Drew Emmitt and Vince Herman from Leftover Salmon, Butch Trucks from The Allman Brothers Band, Fred Tacket from Little Feat, Mike Gordon from Phish, and Vince Welnick from The Grateful Dead. Honorary band members for full Schwag shows include Merl Saunders, Melvin Seals, Johnnie Johnson, Jason & Travis & Kang from String Cheese Incident, and Devon Allman (Gregg’s son.) From May of 2013 to May of 2014, The Schwag was primarily on hiatus, as lead singer Jimmy Tebeau served time in federal prison in Yankton, South Dakota for a music/drug related crime. The Schwag band is now stronger than ever on a perpetual tour performing a different show every night of high energy organic interpretations of the Grateful Dead.

Undertow is a St. Louis based Tool tribute band. Undertow has been entertaining crowds in the
Midwest since 2014. Formerly in Man Down, a premiere cover band in the St. Louis area, Singer Dave Williams, Guitar Player John Doughtery, and Drummer Robert Bolyard, have been sharing the stage for 10 plus years. Man Down played songs from such artists as Rage Against the Machine, 311, Breaking Benjamin, and Incubus. However the more abundant interest in the band was the 45 minute set of Tool that always closed the night. The love for the music of Tool and the excitement from the fans to play it inspired them to form a Tool tribute. Rounding out the lineup is Bass Player Tony Andrews. FREEVERSE BAND BIOGRAPHY :
FreeVerse is a fusion of progressive psychedelic rock, funk, blues, and jazz that yields one seasoned jam band. They are always pushing forward, rocking with heavy beats and flowing energy. FreeVerse can explore southern fried harmonica-drenched blues to spaced-out dirty funk. Depending on the moment, you never can be sure what they will sound like. This creative energy allows the band to explore new directions every night. Rocking the moment, or the now, is the overall goal of their music.
Right now, FreeVerse is the number one jam band in their area. No one has as much experience, and musicianship or history as FreeVerse. Their stock is currently rising as evident by their national ranking of 22 in the US for jam bands according to Reverbnation. In 2003, FreeVerse was voted "Best New Band" by the readers of the Little Rock Free Press. They were Arkansas Times Musicians Showcase Semifinalists in 2004 and 2005. They were also chosen to participate in the Wakarusa Winter Classic in 2007, 2008, 2009, and 2014. In the summer of 2006, they released their first full-length self-titled album. They have finished their follow up to their debut album and it will be released by summer of 2014. With the addition of new musicians, the band has tightened their sound and achieved a funkier rock edge with country blues overtones while surpassing their creative expression of years past.
The band has shared the stage with Victor Wooten, Bernie Worrell, Tom Constanten of Grateful Dead, The Schwag, Dirty Dozen Brass Band, Terrapin Flyer, New Monsoon, Particle, Ivan Neville’s Dumpstaphunk, Oteil Burbridge & The Peacemakers, Garaj Mahal, The Big Wu, Col Bruce Hampton, Yonder Mountain String Band, Ekoostik Hookah, David Nelson, George McConnell, Willie Waldman and Rob Wasserman, Jacob Fred Jazz Odyssey, Sonny Landreth, Grease Factor, Bonerama, and many other talented musicians. FreeVerse has been featured on “Spotlight On”, an hour-long television program featuring prominent regional musicians and songwriters. They have also performed live at numerous festivals, including headliner or late night spots at Brydfest (3,4,6), US Highberry Blues Festival, Legends of Arkansas, Memphis Music and Heritage Festival, Arkansas Riverfest, Toad Suck Daze, Arkansas Earth Day Festival, The Great Unknown, and Togetherfest.
